Images are the language through which I think.
My name is Gohar Hosseinzadeh Nazeri, and I work under the name MarjanSeen. For more than sixteen years, I have explored different forms of visual expression, from graphic design and filmmaking to storytelling and contemporary art, always seeking to create works that are not only seen, but experienced.
My practice moves between reality and imagination, where images become a way of evoking emotion, inviting reflection, and leaving room for silence. Whether through installation art, sculptural works, moving images, or visual design, I see each medium as a different way of telling a story.
I am drawn to ideas that stay with the viewer long after the encounter—works that invite curiosity rather than provide answers, and experiences that leave space for personal interpretation. Alongside my artistic practice, supporting animal rights remains an inseparable part of my worldview. I believe that beauty is incomplete without empathy.
